Grading HLG footage

Requirements

First you should check if your camera is able to record HLG footage. Sony and Panasonic use HLG. Check if your video software is able to work on LUTs. LUTs were established on LOG footage so they exist before HLG was introduced. You should also check, if your video program supports HLG. I work with Sony Alpha 7 mk3.

The free LUT is designed for a special shadow, midtone and highlight szenario that doesn‘t match all shots. I developed 8 LUTs handling gamma curve in a different way. In addition I created 8 correcting LUTs handling mistakes on exposure. They are correcting LUTs. They are all part of the LUT pack.
