What is HDR?
High Dynamic Range - What is
  this?
  ITU-R BT.709 and ITU-R
  BT.2020 are important
  standards. Do you know
  them?
If no just continue here. I will
ty to explain as easy as
  possible.

Grading HDR footage
Give your footage a better look
  HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma)
Image reproduction is achieving an impressive new reality with the
combination of HDR (high dynamic range) and WCG (wide color gamut).
Furthermore, high-frame-rate shooting and deeper bit depth are making
significant contributions to the next generation of high-quality image
  production.
HLG provides a relative value tied to the gamma and logarithmic curve.
HLG supports practical luminance levels from 1,000 up to 2,000 cd/m2. It
is compatible with conventional SDR systems. Although it is compatible
on conventional television HLG footage looks dull.
What should be done? If your video editor is able to deal with grading
you can fix this using a LUT
Look-up-tables (LUTs) are used to convert an image from one color
  representation to another.
I did not find suitable LUTs so I created some myself. I created several
LUTs to match most situations. Just look yourself.
